walked out after 4 songs. why? not because of the band...the sound was the worst i've ever heard at any venue. Bombay Rock failed to deliver. I'm really wondering if i'll go there again. The volume was over the top, the vocals were completly lost in the mix. I want my money back.
i really like the B.O.T and will see them at another venue, with prof sound people running the sound. _________________ music is life |

Well you won't have to worry about this venue any more as I understand it has closed down.
Every gig I went to I had the same problem. The PA is not the right one for the venue at all and the venue itself is not ideal. Let's hope another venue comes along because this town desperately needs to keep the bigger acts coming in. _________________ Cheers,

| Yeah Bombay rock has that problem. Its because the system they have in the building is WAY TO BIG. They've rigged a huge system which could sound good in somewhere like the Entertainment Centre (well maybe if it was something like a Nexo system, the system they have is actually a cheap asian brand called Tasso). So basically everything ends up too loud and the mix is generally pretty poor. I've played there a few times in a band myself and normally the onstage mix sounds pretty good but once your out on the floor everything mushs together into a big blob of shit! |
